The International Federation of Physiotherapists working in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (IFPOHE) networking session welcomes all participants with an interest in this specialty as well as those already working in the field including practitioners, educators, researchers and policy makers. It’s an opportunity to meet new colleagues, share experiences, and reaffirm professional connections and friendships.
Some tables will have suggested topics and other tables will be without topics for participants to raise their own interests. Pre-allocated topics will include: global standards of practice for physiotherapists working in occupational health and ergonomics; psychosocial factors and mental health, Sustainable Development Goals (#3 good health and well being; #8 decent work, 5# gender equality); telehealth; manual handling; work injury prevention, and return to work. There will also be tables without topics so participants can gather together in other unspecified groups of interest.
Participants will initially introduce themselves to others at their table and then share ideas about current status, common challenges and enablers, and future directions. At the end of the session a table representative will share their findings with the wider group of participants, providing an ideal forum for airing suggestions to IFPOHE.
This networking session is organised by the International Federation of Physiotherapists working in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (IFPOHE), a World Physiotherapy specialty group for physiotherapists working in the area of occupational health and ergonomics.
