The Japanese Red Cross Medical Centre is a medical institution with 41 medical departments with approximately 700 inpatient beds. The four areas of particular focus are paediatric and perinatal care, cancer treatment, emergency medical care, and disaster relief.
As a general hospital, it provides medical care for all, from newborn children to older people, for common to rare conditions, as well as promoting health and prevention Another focus of the facility is to provide prevention and health promotion.
The visit will provide an opportunity to see acute rehabilitation in Japan.
