Applications for volunteers for World Physiotherapy Congress 2025 in Tokyo are now open.

Join us at the largest global gathering of physiotherapists and contribute to what will be an amazing event.
There will be a variety of roles and responsibilities to volunteer for, including:
- registration
- exhibition hall
- room monitoring
- speakers lounge
- directional/general information
- transport
- social events
- photography/media

Requirements
You will be required to complete at least two shifts of five-six hours each or 10-12 hours total, and attend a mandatory training session (onsite).
Volunteers will be required onsite for shifts between 27–31 May 2025.
Notification of outcome: all applicants will be notified during the second week of March as to whether or not their application has been successful.
Eligibility
To apply as a volunteer, you must:
- either be based in Japan, or be a member of one of the World Physiotherapy member organisations in the Asia Western Pacific region, as listed on the application form
- be able to understand and speak English
In return you will have the opportunity to attend congress sessions and visit the exhibition on the day/s you volunteer when not on shift. You will also receive access to the volunteer lounge, light refreshments and snacks, and an official congress certificate to recognise your participation.
World Physiotherapy will not pay for any travel, food or accommodation expenses incurred as a result of volunteering.
